Monitoring Your Grant Money
Any grant, which your group receives, comes directly from rents, which all our tenants pay. Our tenants require us to be accountable for money that we spend and that includes money given to recognised tenant groups.
For this reason, we require that tenant groups monitor their spending at regular intervals throughout the year and produce audited accounts before the Association can give any further grants.
The Tenant Liaison Officer can advise about how to monitor your grant.
He may ask to inspect your books from time to time.
